Elder Dragons and End Game Monster

1. Amatsumagatsuchi

The Amatsumagatsuchi is the end game monster in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. This monster have a wind barrier but the barrier only protect it from ballista, the barrier could temporarily disappear if it makes a certain move. Everywhere the Amatsumagatsuchi go it will be followed by a storm that explains the Amatsumagatsuchi possess an ability to manipulate storm. When this monster is enraged the monster horn will glow and it could make a little twister also a three water beam. When the Amatsumagatsuchi is defeated the sky will clear up.

2. Ceadeus

The Ceadeus is a whale-like elder dragon that first appeared in Monster Hunter Tri. This monster lives in an underwater canyon and ruins under the Moga island. This monster is the end game monster for the offline campaign. Ceadeus right horn is more thicker than the left one, these horns could be broken. Under the neck it have a beard and that beard could be broken. The battle with Ceadeus divided to two parts that is the pursuit and the final battle. The pursuit part will take in two areas, the first one is a slim canyon and the second one is a canyon leading to a cylindrical area, on this part the parts that can be broken are the hood, beard, and tail. At the final battle the horns can be broken off. The final battle takes part in a ruins underwater. When the Ceadeus is driven to the final area and repelled, it will spawn there each time the quest is retaken until the Ceadeus is slain.

3. Jhen Mohran and Jhen Mohran Subspecies

Jhen Mohran (upper picture) and Jhen Mohran Subspecies (downer picture) are elder dragons that have little arms but a big body. Both monsters live in the great desert, but the Jhen Mohran subspecies is a new monster that first introduced in Monster Hunter 3G. The Jhen Mohran subspecies is slightly larger than the original one. The Jhen Mohran can be fought in Monster Hunter 3 and Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, but the Jhen Mohran subspecies can only be fought in Monster Hunter 3G. The attacks of Jhen Mohran are :

1. Rock throw from its back
2. Side swipe with both horns into the ship
3. Swimming in front of the ship and attack the ship with its head (can be stopped by the Dragonator)
4. Shoots a tunnel of sands from its mouth (this attack is first introduced in Monster Hunter 3G)

Jhen Mohran hirns could be destroyed and both hands could be damaged. On Jhen Mohran spine you could make two holes in the places that are cracked.
